Dr. Wetter

Dr. Spencer Wetter received his Ph.D. at the University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University Joint Doctoral in Clinical Psychology in the Neuropsychology Track. He has worked extensively with children and adults providing Neuropsychological - Psychoeducational assessments. He has worked with several clinical populations including Autism, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, Sensory Processing Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Dementia. Dr. Wetter has dedicated his career to understanding how these disorders affect the brain and, more importantly, what can be done about how they impact people's lives. 

Dr. Wetter has lectured in the Neuropsychology field covering topics such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and treatment possibilities for children and adults with difficulties in the areas of attention, organization, social interaction and communication. Dr. Wetter has had the opportunity to work  with children and adults in many settings. He has many years of experience in a variety of environments, including Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, the San Diego VA Healthcare System, the Hallowell-West Medical Center, and the University of New Mexico Hospital.

At Applied Neuropsychology, Inc., Dr. Wetter works to evaluate children from preschool through university, using comprehensive assessment tools, to help organize effective intervention plans and to provide beneficial referrals in the San Diego area.
