Our mission

The Applied Neuropsychology Institute is dedicated to researching effective methods for determining cognitive, social and emotional function; finding effective remediation methods; and communicating the results to individuals, parents, teachers and the general public in commonsense language.  Additionally, the institute draws professionals together for training and research, as well as developing strategies for applying current neuroscience knowledge to everyday life, particularly in the classroom and the workplace.  Dr. Kristine Laverty and Dr. Spencer Wetter are the principal neuropsychologists who together provide the breadth of over twenty-five years of practice and in depth training in current trends in brain function.
